- The festival is deeply rooted in Catalonia’s tradition of celebrating light through festivals and rituals, like La Mercè, while presenting a contemporary, urban reinterpretation of those traditions.
- The name "Llum" translates to "light" in Catalan, emphasizing the festival’s core theme.
- Originally held in different parts of the city, the festival has now found a home in the **Poblenou district**, known for its transformation from an industrial hub to a creative and technological innovation center. This location reflects the festival's fusion of past, present, and future.

After presenting and voting on all the group's projects we all collectively chose the project that's involved around AI. The project is called Mirrors of Tomorrow and it focuses on having a curved LED screen that projects an AI generated image of the prompt given through a microphone. This gets a lot of interaction from the local public where they can ask questions about the future of Barcelona and get an AI generated image. Below is the presentation for it with all the details.

After we chose the final idea, we spilt into groups and divided responsibilities and delegated work accordingly. I joined the team which was working under prototyping and communication. My responsibilities were to create prototypes of the microphone holder to ensure it's feasibility. Below you can see the images of the prototype we made of the microphone holder  (scaled down version).
