Slow Lab

At the intersection between the slow movement and low-tech, Slow lab is a collective which wants to bring awareness and promote a resilient lifestyle. They organize social events and create artifacts to open conversations around how to integrate ancient techniques into our present context. They question and redesign the tools we use in our daily life to become less dependent on high-technology. Based in Barcelona, we work from Akasha Hub in Clot. They started developing this project during our Master in Design for Emergent Futures at IAAC x FabLab BCN x Elisava.

I reached out to Audrey from Slow lab as their thinking and execution process completely matches mine, she showed me around the Slow Lab and gave me suggestion for my ideas and potentially thought about the two of us collaborating for the MDEFEST.
